Questions asked by N. Chibber. Mumbai 400008.

Question 1: While performing Namaz, can one wear the Jeans trousers which has manufacturers label of leather on its back side?
Allamah: If you know that the leather label is of Murdaar, then your Namaz is Batil And if you do not know then according to Ayatullah Seestani, Namaz is Sahih. But according Ayatullah Khoei (R.A.) Namaz will not be valid.

Question 2: Can we perform Namaz with the leather belt on ?
If you know that the leather belt is of Zabiha, then its O.K. otherwise the details are according to the question no.1.

Question 3: If one has a leather - wallet in his pocket while performing Namaz, will his Namaz be valid ?
Allamah : According to Ayatullah Seestani the Namaz is valid.

Question 4: If the leather belt is touched by wet hand, does the hand becomes Najis ?
Allamah: Yes, if it proved that the leather belt is of Murdaar. Otherwise, no.

Question 5: If there is pictLlre of a living creature on the shirt or T-shirt, is the Namaz Sahih?
Allamah : Namaz is valid, but the Sawab will be reduced.
