Q.1 If a Najis dress is washed with other clothes in a washing
machine, does it become Paak (Tahir) itself or makes the rest of
the clothes Najis?
Ans.: If the washing machine is automatic and there is a continuous
flow of water, the Najis dress will become Paak (Tahir).
Q.2. Your respected self is the Vakeel of Ayatullah Seestani (m.a.)
in India, then what about the position of other Vakeels?
Ans.: Vakalat (agency) of Olama (Scholars) is concerned with the
use of the laws of Shariat and legal rights. As far as other people
are concerned they are authorised only for monetary transactions
like banks etc. (That act as agents in transfer of funds).
Q.3. Can a person who has some Qaza Fasts of Ramadhan keep Mustahab
(recommended) Fasts?
Ans.: First he has to fulfil his qaza Fasts, only then he can keep
Mustahab Fasts. However in the case of Namaz, even if one has qaza
Namaz he can pray Mustahab Namaz.
Q.4. If a proprietor of a firm is a shia who does not pay Khums.
Is it allowed to accept salary from him?
Ans.: There is no connection between Khums and salary one who does
not pay Khums is a sinner, but he is after all the rightful owner
of paid from.
Q.5. A person has become capable of performing Hajj, but he intends
to perform Umrah first. Can he?
Ans.: If, after performing Umrah he has necessary funds for performing
Hajj, he can do so.
Q.6. What is the meaning of `Aadil' in case of Imam-e-Jama'at?
Ans.: It denotes a person who fulfils all the obligatory acts and
refrains from all prohibited ones.
Q.7. Can we make a will to donate our eyes after a death?
Ans.: If there is no insult to Mo'min, there is no harm, but there
should be written as such in the will of the deceased.
